Christian Braunig has been with CONFIDA Group since he completed his studies of business administration with a focus on corporate accounting and revision at the University of Graz. Based on his eight years of work at the Graz office, Mr. Braunig has acquired extensive experience in tax consulting and auditing. Since 2008 he has been successfully working at the Beograd office. In June 2010 he was appointed as tax advisor and since November 2010 he has been working as Managing Director at the CONFIDA office in Graz.

Mr. Braunig focuses on classic tax advisory as well as cross border tax planning and consulting. He particularly specializes in the areas of tax optimization of M & A transactions, corporate restructurings, reorganizations of companies, double taxation agreements and transfer pricing advisory.

Ernst Malleg completed his studies of economics at the University of Graz in 1988. He then acquired his qualifications as tax advisor, auditor, and certified public accountant. In 2007, he became generally certified court expert. Furthermore, Mr. Malleg has been appointed as government commissioner by the Austrian Financial Market Authority. He has been playing a decisive role in the successful establishment of CONFIDA Group in Southeast Europe.

Beside public accounting and tax advising Mr. Malleg particularly focuses on reorganization advisory and insolvency administration as well as business consulting. He works both on a national and an international level – with a special focus on Southeast Europe.

Ms. Andrea Nießner completed her studies in Business Education and Management Training at the Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck in 2002. After starting her career in 2003, she was appointed as tax consultant in 2007. In 2013, she gained her qualification as a certified public accountant and completed the special training course on IAS/IFRS of the Academy of Chartered Accountants.

Since 2017, she has been Managing Director of CONFIDA Graz. Prior to that, she worked with auditing companies in Graz, where she gained extensive experience in tax consultancy, the consulting of businesses in agriculture and forestry, and the auditing of annual financial statements.

In addition to ongoing client support (founding consultancy, choice of legal form, restructuring, tax optimization and planning, etc.), Ms. Nießner's main professional focus is on business management consulting and advice on social security law issues. Furthermore, she oversees audits and special audits of annual financial statements.

Alexandra Stangl completed her studies of business administration at the Karl-Franzen University in Graz in 1996. Later on she acquired her qualification as tax advisor and public accountant. She has extensive experience in auditing of companies in various sectors, and after working four years at an international public accounting firm in Vienna, she joined Confida.

Miss Stangl focuses on auditing of annual financial statements according to national and international auditing standards and special audits. Another focus of her work is tax funding advisory.

Philipp Lenger has been managing director and head of the Graz office since October 2020, with many years of experience to his credit in giving expert advice on business taxation and external financial reporting. In his work, he focuses primarily developing business restructuring and reorganisation plans, managing M&A processes, including the implementation of due diligences and business valuations, and drawing up management appraisals for civil and criminal proceedings. He is a tax advisor, business consultant and generally sworn, court-certified expert. Additionally, he heads the master's programme 'Controlling and Performance Management' at WIFI Styria in cooperation with the FH Campus 02 and teaches in adult education while regularly working as a lecturer and publishing as an expert author.
